So.

Nine months ago, I had three of my front teeth extracted.

And recently, my grandniece became the first person to ask me about my missing teeth.

I had been dreading that moment.

But before I could even get embarrassed, she immediately started bonding with me over losing teeth because, in her world, losing a tooth means one very important thing:

The Tooth Fairy might pay you. 😂

And that got me thinking.

Where is the Tooth Fairy now that I need her?

Because I have lost THREE teeth.

And unlike my grandniece, I am not receiving money.

Quite the opposite.

So naturally, because I am currently in the middle of the Great Witch Lock-In, this little joke did not stay a joke.

It turned into a magical idea.

Then a petition.

Then a candle.

Then somehow Cardi B became my Tooth Fairy.

Of course she did.

And honestly, this is exactly why I wanted to do the Lock-In this way.

I’m not trying to force myself into some rigid “perfect practice” for three months.

I’m giving a few things that really matter to me focused attention and seeing what emerges.

And apparently, when I give my new smile enough attention, I end up researching Tooth Fairy folklore, thinking about egregores, making sigils, creating a petition, and wrapping a fabulous Cardi B Tooth Fairy around a candle.
